Our client wished to construct a contemporary, box / cubic style dwelling for the property located in a peaceful location which offered wide north facing views to the escarpment.

The building features two bedroom suites, both with ensuites separated by a large common living space.

The bedrooms and living area all open up onto a north facing hardwood deck via timber bi-fold doors which frame the spectacular views.

The building forms a simple yet interesting shape which has square lines on three sides hiding the low profile roof, but proudly reveals it on one side adjacent raised blade walls.

The materials used externally include dark coloured steel against contrasting vertical hardwood cladding which blends nicely into the landscape.
