The brief was to design a modern looking beach house that was functional and had a family feel.

With master bedroom, main living areas and garage on the ground level it makes the ground fully self-contained.

The added bonus of having additional bedrooms, bathroom and extra living area on the first-floor level creates extra space, privacy for visiting guest or that much needed extra room for teenagers to have their space.

The north facing outlook of the rear of the home lets in that winter sun, warming the home in the cooler months. The louvre windows throughout the home capture the sea breeze and cool the home in the summer.
