The Design Process
The design process depends upon the type of project and will be customised to suit your individual project.

After initial contact and before we start any plans we will organize a meeting with you at the property or at our office.
We will give you a fixed price fee proposal for our fees based on your individual project needs.
A site meeting is arranged to discuss the proposed development and project budget in more detail and observe existing features such as building locations, views, solar orientation, site restraints etc.
Design sketch plans prepared for you to look over and give you the opportunity to make any modifications and/or discuss the concept of the design.
Building design drawings are then prepared including site plans, floorplans, elevations, cross sections along with all other associated documentation required for the project.
The project is then submitted for application and approval as either a Development Application (DA) with the local council or a Complying Development Certificate application (CDC) with one of our consulting private certifying authorities.

Upon approval of the DA and receipt of a Construction Certificate (CC), the development is then able to proceed into construction with your building contractor.
